Mauritius Attractions offers you the only River Trek adventure in Mauritius.

This is a unique river trek along the Galets River - A great way to discover the beautiful nature of Mauritius!

A full traditional Mauritian lunch is provided as part of this trek.

Come and enjoy the pure fresh water of the river, sliding down natural slides, jumping off rocks, having a natural water massage under the waterfall and swimming and hopping down canyons.

This is a great adventurous trek where you have the chance to refresh yourself in fresh tropical waters and to discover the aquatic fauna and flora of Mauritius. The river trek takes place along fresh water river in a beautiful nature reserve.

The river trek will ends at the Chazal restaurant where you get to enjoy a traditional Mauritian lunch of Mauritian chicken curry served with rice, lentils, white beans and with fresh homegrown vegetables (the lunch is included in the price of the trek).

What is River Trekking? River trekking is a form of hiking or outdoor adventure activity. River trekking is a combination of trekking and climbing and sometimes swimming along the river. Through river trekking, it is possible to access numerous waterfalls, large ponds, pot holes, other special geographical features, as well as special species of animals and plants.

• To take part in the River Trek excursion it is required to have basic swimming skills
• Minimum age requirement: 14 years old
